Your child will grow more rapidly between birth and age three than any other time in their life. In our joyful and loving Montessori toddler classroom curiosity, creativity and confidence are nurtured and the inner drive for understanding becomes a love of learning that will last a lifetime. Care of the self, care of the environment, gross and fine motor development, rich language development and social/emotional learning are all cultivated in the toddler classroom. Toddlers build independence and concentration through purposeful work. Social skills are built when children interact with peers, learning empathy, grace and courtesy while becoming able to identify and verbalize feelings and needs. Toddlers spend one year in this classroom and transfer directly into one of our two primary classrooms the following school year.
